That's exactly what I felt the very first time I listened to "Age of quarrel" by Cro-Mags. It was 1986, an important year for hardcore music and an important year for this (then) fifteen years old kid, who was discovering at that very moment the existence of a "scene", a group of people living and breathing the same type of music and trying to spread a deeper message through their lirycs. A message so powerful it made this kid feel like a member of the same scene, despite living thousands of miles away.
Strenght of music, universal language that need no translation and anyone can understand. Pop, rock, metal, hardcore, punk, prog, hip hop, emo...to me are just different names used to define the same magic.

Built To Last Records originates from the urge to live music in full and from the dream of that kid to make other people live the same emotion.
